Ebby came to us as a rescue/rehome in April 2004. She'd been a kennel dog, but has adjusted well to home life (thanks also in part to her wonderful fosters that she lived with between the kennel and us). It's amazing how far she has come from being the dog who couldn't get near other dogs in class to becoming the "role model". On a number of occasions I've had people compare their dogs to Ebony and tell me how lucky I am to have such a well-trained or well-behaved dog. I have to explain that it didn't "just happen" that way, but I love it every time that happens!
Ebby likes other dogs and enjoys training and dog events. She's very affectionate and is my shadow around the house. In other exciting news, the boys have started to teach her how to retrieve tennis balls, so she's actually chasing and bringing them back herself now instead of just catching and dropping them. Whoo hoo!
